While actually creating the comic that is "The Wellkeeper" comes with plenty of challenges, there's also the business side of things. And those are COMPLETELY different kinds of challenges. One of the biggest of those is just HOW to make potential readers even AWARE your lil' book exists.

The comic book market is a pretty flooded industry and there's lots of books competing for too few dollars out there, so small, indy books without big names attached have to think up lots of different ways to get attention.

The image above represents ONE way I'm planning on promoting the comic in a different way: An animated trailer.

And not some cheesy, flash made "motion comic" where I take images from the book and sorta slide them around. A fully animated teaser showing folks a glimpse into the world of "The Wellkeeper".

Currently, I'm about half done and plan on having it finished and out there by December. Keep your eyes open for it.
